How to play
Tap a piece and its highlighted destination. Keyboard: arrows move focus; Enter or Space selects.
Full controls & rules
Choose Easy (~600), Normal (~1200) or Hard (~2400), select White, Black or Random, then press Play chess. Tap your piece and a highlighted destination, or drag it there. A dot marks a legal move; a ring marks a capture. Castling: move your king two squares toward the rook. Promotion offers Queen, Rook, Bishop or Knight. Undo takes back your last turn; Flip board changes only the view. Keyboard: arrow keys navigate squares; Enter or Space selects. No clock.
About the game
Step into the TFA Chess Club. Choose White, Black or Random and face three CPU opponents with approximate 600, 1200 and 2400 Elo targets. Powered by Stockfish with complete chess rules: castling, en passant, promotion, checkmate and draws. Tap or drag pieces, see legal destinations, review the move history and resume your saved match. Lower levels make deliberate mistakes; ratings are not verified Chess.com ratings.
